We understand that getting to work or to that all important interview when you're a jobseeker or an apprentice is hard when you've not had that regular income beforehand, or you've got household bills to pay on your apprenticeship salary in the first couple of months...

We work with a variety of colleges and training providers to deliver sustainable transport options through our Connect2Work programme to jobseekers and apprentices.

As well as providing sustainable transport modes to jobseekers and apprentices, the Connect2Work programme aims to change the way commuters travel to and from work. It is hoped that by facilitating and encouraging individuals to use sustainable transport, travel habits will change and last beyond the project end to reduce congestion, carbon, and promote a healthier lifestyle.

If your college or training provider isn't featured on this page please let your Active Travel Officer know.
