1-1 Travel Planning

We can provide 1-1 Travel Planning sessions as a way of helping you to understand that there may be alternative modes of transport that you could access to get to and from work.

We can help you plan your route wherever you live, whether you're from a remote area or a busy town centre.

We can also help you access discounts that may be available to you to help you facilitate the use of sustainable transport.

These workshops can be organised remotely or in-house at a Jobcentre, College or Workplace.

Additional Help

If you're stuck for transport to get to an interview, or you want to access a bike, or cheaper public transport, speak to your Work Coach. There are schemes available through the Jobcentre that may help you.

If you're an apprentice struggling to get to work or struggling to afford public transport, speak to your employer or your training provider. Your employer may be able to provide you with a Travel Loan, you might be able to acquire a bicycle through the Cycle to Work Scheme, or your training provider might provide a bursary for your travel costs.

If you're struggling for help, contact us: brock.rogers@iow.gov.uk

We may be able to signpost you in the right direction.
