'DR Bike' Cycle Maintenance Sessions

If your bike is looking a bit tired or you fancy getting back on your bike but you're not sure if it's up to scratch, a Dr Bike session may be for you!

As an employee you're entitled to FREE cycle maintenance sessions to help you get your bicycle back in working order.

As a participant, we will work

with your workplace to ensure

that we hold at least one

session a year to ensure

that your bike is ready

to use all year round.

Key worker Cycle Loans

We work with a variety of cycle hire businesses on the island to provide a short term cycle loan to employees through our key worker cycle scheme

If you need a helmet, a lock or any other accessories to keep you moving, we can also provide those to you as part of the loan. 

There is no need for you to worry about the hassle of collecting the bike or returning it after you've finished with the bike, we'll deliver and collect island-wide!

PedalAid is an app that allows you to raise money for local island charities as you ride. 

Why not make a cycling team at work and see how many kilometers you can rack up! 

Not only does your pedalling raise money for charity, it also gives you the chance to win a variety of prizes every month such as a FREE Rapanui tshirt, and a variety of discounts at local retailers.

The Cycle Hub provides secure storage facilities for FREE whilst you are at work.  

Alongside the Red Jet terminal, you will find fully enclosed dual storage cycle parking with capacity for 74 bikes. It is covered by 24 hour CCTV and also has a universal repair stand fitted with a pump and tools.

We provide 1-1 Travel Planning sessions as a way of helping you to realise that there may be alternatives modes of transport that you can access to get to and from work. 

We can help you plan your route wherever you live, whether you're from a remote area or a busy town centre. 

We can also help you access discounts that may be available to you to help you facilitate the use of sustainable transport. 

It is also a chance for you to ask some questions about sustainable or active transport on the island or at your workplace.

We can work with your workplace to create a travel plan and a travel policy, it would be a great opportunity for us to find out what you'd like to see to help you get to and from work actively or sustainably.

Feel like you might want to travel on the bus, but it might be too expensive? We can help negotiate a discount for your workplace.
